Small butterfly was stamped in black StazOn on three dominoes. Made masks. Placed mortise mask over butterfly and stippled with various chalk inks to color butterflies. Heat set. Placed mask over butterfly and stippled background with olive green Chalk ink. Heat set. Did both of these lightly, because the chalk ink will remove the StazOn ink. Domino edges were painted with gold Krylon pen. Glued to box with E6000 glue. Butterfly charm was glued with super glue, as were the corners. *Don't* do this! The super glue will change the color of the metal if it gets on it! Use Elmers gel glue, instead! |
